Man involved in 2019 triple murder caught

Surat: A 24-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday for his alleged involvement in a September 2019 dacoity and murder case registered in Ankleshwar, Bharuch.
Around 20 robbers had targeted PG Glass, a ceramic glass factory at Utiyadara village and attacked five security guards in September 2019. Three guards had died on the spot, while two remained unconscious for three months.
Police first arrested a vegetable vendor Nitish alias Kaliyo Solanki from in Katargam in connection with the offence. Solanki was on run and was frequently changing his location. A native of Dared village near Vallabhipur in Botad district, Solanki has been spending time working at different locations in Saurashtra and avoided visiting his family members.
“He was nabbed when he came to meet his mother in Surat,” said B D Gohil, police inspector, Katargam police station.
