Online ‘Dadi-Poti selfie’ contest underway

Kohima, Jan. 21 (EMN): “Dadi – Poti Selfie,” an online grandmother – granddaughter selfie contest under “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” is being organised by the District Level Centre For Women- Mahila Shakti Kendra (MSK), and the State Resource Centre For Women under Nagaland State Social Welfare Board.

The first prize would carry a cash award of INR 4,000, followed with INR 3,000 for the second and INR 2,000 for the third winners respectively. The contest kicked started on Thursday and is made opened for participants from any district of the state.

The participants need to be permanent resident of Nagaland to take part in the contest adding only one entry would be allowed, the organisers informed. Participants are informed to submit their details through WhatsApp number 8787628884.

The last date for submission of the selfies has been fixed on January 30, while the result would be declared on March 8, the organisers added. The contest is being held in commemoration of the National Girl Child Week under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao from January 21 to the 26th.
