West Ham 'prepare new bid of £16m for Josh King' after Bournemouth rejected their initial offer, with David Moyes desperate to replace Sebastien Haller with a new striker this month
- The Hammers are keen to recruit a striker after selling Sebastien Haller to Ajax
- They had an offer in the region of £13m rejected by Bournemouth for Josh King
- However they are prepared to increase their offer in their fight to land a striker
West Ham are reportedly putting the pressure on Bournemouth to sell striker Josh King during the January transfer window.
The Hammers have had an offer for the forward rejected by the Cherries which was believed to be in the region of £13million.
But the Irons are determined to land a striker this month after selling Sebastien Haller to Ajax for £20m a fortnight ago.

The Sun are now reporting that West Ham are set to launch an improved offer worth £16m in their bid to land the Norwegian.
West Ham turned to the 29-year-old former Manchester United academy player after struggling in their pursuit to land Sevilla's Youssef En-Nesyri.
King's contract at the Vitality Stadium expires at the end of the season having joined the club from Blackburn back in 2015.
The Championship club would prefer to cash in on their player however, rather than lose him for free in the summer.
Bournemouth could have cashed in on King in the summer of 2020, with the club reportedly rejecting a £20m offer from Manchester United.
If they don't get the fee they want, they could be prepared to gamble by keeping him on until the summer, in the hope King will sign an extension, should they get promoted straight back up to the Premier League.
King has only scored twice for Bournemouth this campaign having missed a lot of game time
King has scored 52 goals in 182 appearances across all competitions since making his Bournemouth debut.
Though Bournemouth sit inside the Championship play-off positions, King has yet to score in England's second-tier so far this season - with his only two goals coming in a 4-1 FA Cup victory over Oldham.
A big part of this however is that the striker has not been included in 13 of Bournemouth's match-day squads this season due to injury or illness.
