JAIPUR: The budget session of the
assembly will begin on February 10, according to an official release issued by the
Raj Bhavan on Friday.
According to the release, governor
Kalraj Mishra gave approval for the sixth session of the 15th assembly from February 10 after declaring the conclusion of the fifth session on January 21.
The fifth session of the assembly was adjourned sine die on November 2 after a debate over the Centre's new agriculture laws.
The state government had sent a proposal to this effect on Thursday which the governor accepted.
The session will begin with the address of the governor as it is the first session the year.
The assembly will miss four MLAs who had passed away after the previous session.
In between the two sessions the strength of the assembly has been reduced to 196 in the 200-strong assembly.
Congress MLAs Master Bhanwarlal Meghwal, Kailash Trivedi, Gajendra Singh Shaktawat and BJP MLA Kiran Maheshwari passed away during this period.
