    NEW DELHI: With the resolve to nurture entrepreneurship TiE Delhi – NCR has announced the opening of the four day online conclave. It is called the Resurgence TiEcon Delhi – NCR and will be held from January 27 to January 30.

    This initiative aims to equip attendees with a playbook by drawing from the learnings from the pandemic struck 2020 and chart the path for the future. Here entrepreneurs can showcase their ventures, meet investors, engage with government organizations, network with business experts and explore partnership opportunities.

    The conclave will bring together an Piyush Goyal, Minister of Railways, Minister of Commerce & Industry – GOI, Satya Nadella, CEO- Microsoft, Harley Finkelstein, President- Shopify, Kalyan Krishnamurthy, CEO - Flipkart, Shernaz Daver, Advisory Partner of Google Ventures Byju Raveendran, Founder & CEO - Byju’s, Ritesh Agarwal, CEO - Oyo Rooms, Amit Agarwal, Global Senior VP & Country Head, Amazon India and others.

    In a statement, Rajan Anandan, President, TiE Delhi & NCR & MD Sequoia India, said, “Resurgence is focused on the opportunities that will arise over the next several years for entrepreneurs. It will bring inspiring entrepreneurial journeys, interesting discussions on good practices from around the world, and showcase the spread and depth of entrepreneurship based on innovation in India.”

    With the sub themes of consumer business, healthcare, fintech, edtech, travel & SAAS, the event will look at the need for an enhanced focus on identifying new ways to increase revenues to strengthen businesses in these sectors. The virtual exhibition area will feature over 12 startup missions from various states including Maharashtra, Kerala, Odisha, Haryana, Punjab ad Goa and internationally from Japan, Germany, UK, Netherlands, Russia and others. The event will also host various awards recognising TiE- Lumis Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards & TiE & Power2SME Spirit of Manufacturing Awards.
