‘2-way air journey to be faster than e-way’
Agra airport director AA Ansari said, “The two-way air journey will be much cheaper and faster than Agra-Lucknow expressway, which will be a win-win situation for tourists and airline operator.”
He said, “Connectivity between the two cities was scheduled to start from January 12 by Zoom Air but due to some clearance issues from DGCA, the service has been delayed”
Meanwhile, air service resumed at Agra civil terminal on Saturday and 19 passengers arrived from Goa .
After landing at 11.20am, the flight will head for Delhi at 12.20pm.
Ansari said, “Apart from Lucknow, Delhi and Goa service, the airport will also cater to service for Bengaluru, Bhopal, Ahmedabad and Indore.”
