John Krasinski will host 'Saturday Night Live' on Jan. 30.

John Krasinski will finally get his chance to host “Saturday Night Live.”

The Newton native will host “SNL” on Jan. 30 as the show returns from its holiday hiatus. Machine Gun Kelly is the musical guest.

Krasinski was originally supposed to host “SNL” on March 28, 2020, to coincide with the release of “A Quiet Place Part II,” but both his movie and his hosting gig were delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. ( The release date of “A Quiet Place Part II” was recently delayed again, moving from April 23 to Sept. 17.)

Krasinski shared the news on Instagram, adding the caption “Aaaaaand cue the pinching myself.”
