Hooghly, Birbhum get new DMs in IAS reshuffle

KOLKATA: The state on Tuesday transferred several senior IAS officers, including DMs of Birbhum and Hooghly. Hooghly DM Y Ratnakar Rao is now additional secretary, health. Deepap Priya P will be new DM of Hooghly. Devi Prasad Karanam was posted as the new DM of Birbhum.
Sunil Kumar Gupta was appointed additional chief secretary (ACS) of Governor, as the present ACS Satish Tiwary will superannuate on February 28.SA Baba, a 1988 batch IAS officer will be chairman of state valuation board from March 1.
