With the rise in Covid-19 cases in the city and several people lowering their guard, the BMC has once again intensified its drive to fine those who are not wearing masks. BMC has fined around 22,976 people today and collected Rs 45.95 lakh in fines.
Amid concern over rising Covid-19 cases, Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh today ordered restriction on indoor gathering to 100 & outdoor to 200 persons from March 1, along with strict enforcement of mask/social distancing rules, with testing to be ramped to 30,000 a day, reports ANI.
