Happy Hammer Jesse Lingard admits to 'consistency' struggles at Manchester United but midfielder is 'really enjoying' himself on loan at West Ham
- Jesse Lingard is excelling on loan at West Ham since leaving Manchester United
- Lingard has scored three goals in four appearances since his January transfer
- He had only played three times for United this season and none in the league
Jesse Lingard has hailed his loan move to West Ham for revitalising his career after failing to produce on a consistent basis at Manchester United.
Lingard swapped Manchester for London during the January transfer window, having only played just three times for United this season with none of those appearances in the Premier League.
However, since moving to the London Stadium he has played four times in the Premier League, scoring three goals - twice on his debut in a 3-1 triumph at Aston Villa and another in a 2-1 win over Tottenham.

The 28-year-old had only played three times for United this season and he lacked 'consistency'
And reflecting on the contrast in form at his parent and present club, 28-year-old Lingard concedes he lacked consistency but has found his feet with the Hammers.
'I'm obviously really enjoying my football and I've settled in really well and the lads have taken to me really well,' he told West Ham's official website.
'I've come here to play football week-in, week-out and that's what I'm doing. Playing football makes me happy and when we win and play like we did on Sunday [when Lingard scored in a 2-1 victory over Tottenham], nothing can top that.
'It's about doing it consistently and that's maybe where I've struggled before, doing it consistently in games, but I can feel now I'm coming to an age where I can keep that consistency and focus and concentration coming into games and playing games week-in, week-out which I haven't been used to.'
The midfielder says playing regularly at the London Stadium has helped him return to form
Lingard is set to make a fifth appearance for David Moyes' side on Saturday when they travel to table-toppers Manchester City in the early kick-off.
Upon joining West Ham on loan there was no buy clause inserted to make the deal a permanent one come the end of the season.
However, West Ham boss Moyes has admitted they could look to make that so come this summer. Lingard's contract is due to expire at United in 2022 and the Red Devils could look to cash in beforehand.
Speaking earlier this month, Moyes said: 'The situation here is Jesse's going to get a good chance to look at West Ham, see what he thinks of us and whether he likes it, and we'll get a good look at Jesse and decide what we think in five or six months' time.'
