Massachusetts State Lottery: Mass Cash ticket won $100,000 over the weekend; sold in Dorchester

After buying a Mass Cash ticket at Stop & Shop, one ticket buyer won $100,000 Sunday night.

Last night’s winning ticket was bought at Stop & Shop in Dorchester, located at 460 Blue Hill Ave.

Quincy residents were having some good luck last week.

During Monday’s drawing, a Lucky For Life ticket sold at Sam’s Variety in Quincy won the game’s second tier prize, which was $25,000 a year for life. Then during Tuesday’s drawing, a Mass Cash ticket sold at Quincy Gas won $100,000.

Other recent lottery winners from across the state number were announced in February.

One man won $1 million after buying a lottery ticket while picking up a pizza from Uno Pizzeria & Grill at the Holyoke Mall.

There was no jackpot winner during Friday night’s Mega Millions drawing. The next drawing, which has an estimated jackpot of $68 million, will be on Tuesday at 11 p.m.

There was also no Powerball jackpot winner on Saturday. That jackpot is currently estimated at $155 million. The next drawing will be on Wednesday at 11 p.m.

Massachusetts lottery players should also check older tickets. Millions of dollars are left in unclaimed prizes, some dating back to 2016. Some of those winnings, however, expire this month if not claimed.
