Odisha: Malkangiri forest division holds public meetings to create awareness on forest fires

Malkangiri forest division held public meetings and created awareness on forest fires on March 15. They also organised nukkad natak at various spots to raise awareness. Speaking to ANI, Divisional Forest Officer said, "We composed a song. This year, we witnessed comparatively fewer incidents. All ranges have one squad each. We get information on fire incidents through an application." Forest fires are the major concern for locals as it destroys the natural habitat, kill wildlife.
