Boulder police are responding to a report of an active shooter at a grocery store in south Boulder.
According to police radio traffic, the shooting was first reported at King Soopers, 3600 Table Mesa Drive, at around 2:30 p.m.
Police confirmed on Twitter that the call is an active shooter situation at 2:49 p.m.
At this time it is not known how many injuries or shooters there may be. Police radio traffic indicated one person had been taken into police custody.
Boulder Community Health spokesman Rich Sheehan said at least one person had been transported from the scene to the Foothills Hospital in Boulder.
