A 14-year-old girl was gang-raped at a village under Bochahan police station in Muzaffarpur district, police said on Thursday.

PATNA: A 14-year-old girl was gang-raped at a village under Bochahan police station in Muzaffarpur district, police said on Thursday.
The incident took place when the victim, a class 6 student, was cleaning utensils outside her house at around 6.30pm on Tuesday.
Two youths, identified as Anima Kumar and Ajay Kumar, stated to be residents of Karnapura village, forcible took her to a litchi orchard, around 500 metres from her house, and raped her.

The accused also made video of the crime and threatened to kill her if she revealed the matter either to the family or the police.
On Wednesday, the victim's family reported the incident to the Bochahan police, which referred it to the district woman's police station station. The survivor was subsequently sent for medical examination.
DSP (east) said that the victim's statement would be recorded in the court under section 164 of CrPc on Thursday.
The preliminary medical report has confirmed the rape.
"Raids were on to arrest the culprits," he said, adding that the accused were absconding after the incident.
The police have sent the survivor's clothes to the forensic science laboratory for test.
