Oppo Reno2 Z starts receiving Android 11 update in India

Smartphone maker Oppo has started rolling out the Android 11 update for its Reno2 Z smartphone in India. The company is rolling out the update in batches and you can manually check for the update by going to Settings > Software Updates.

NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Oppo has started rolling out the Android 11 update for its Reno2 Z smartphone in India. The company is rolling out the update in batches and you can manually check for the update by going to Settings > Software Updates.
With the Android 11 update, the Oppo Reno2 Z users will be able to experience features like default screen recorder, better media controller, native smart home control, one-time permission to apps, security fixes via Google Play and others.
Along with this, the smartphone will also get ColorOS 11 update.
Apart from Oppo Reno2 Z, the company has also rolled out Android 11 update for Oppo A91 in Indonesia and Oppo Reno3 A in Japan.
As per the company's Android 11 roadmap, Oppo Reno 2 will be the next smartphone in line to receive the Android 11 update. The company will be rolling out the update in India, Malaysia, Thailand, Pakistan, Myanmar, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia and the Philippines.
On the other hand, starting April 14, the smartphone maker will release ColorOS 11 beta builds for A9 (2020) and A5 (2020) in India and Indonesia.
Recently, Oppo launched its two new A-series smartphones in Cambodia. The company launched the Oppo A74 and Oppo A74 5G smartphones in the region. The duo comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets and are backed by a 5000mAh battery.
While the Oppo A74 4G is equipped with a 6.43-inch full-HD+ display with 1,080x2,400 pixels resolution and 60Hz refresh rate, the 5G variant features a 6.5-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
Oppo A74 4G is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset. The 5G model, on the other hand, is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor. The duo pack 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card.
