Could Jesse Lingard end up at REAL MADRID?! 13-time Champions League winners 'join PSG and Inter Milan' in monitoring West Ham's in-form loanee, who's up for sale from Manchester United this summer

  • Jesse Lingard has been in sensational form since joining West Ham on loan
  • He has scored eight goals in nine games and scored twice against Leicester City
  • The 28-year-old midfielder has just one year left on his Manchester United deal
  • Real Madrid, PSG and Inter are among the clubs keeping an eye on his situation

Jesse Lingard is reportedly being monitored by a host of Europe's top clubs including Real Madrid, PSG and Inter Milan amid a terrific run of form at West Ham.

The 28-year-old, who joined the Hammers on loan from Manchester United in January, has scored eight goals in nine games and earned a recall to the England squad last month.

He continued his prolific run of form on Sunday too, scoring twice in the 3-2 win against Leicester, and now ESPN report that a trio of European heavyweights are keeping an eye on Lingard's situation heading into the summer window.

The report details that West Ham want to sign Lingard permanently and their case will be made stronger if they can qualify for the Champions League.

They are currently fourth in the table, one point ahead of Chelsea and three ahead of Liverpool with seven games to go.

Lingard has one year left on his Manchester United deal and was surplus to requirements under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer earlier this season.

However, the Hammers are insisting that Declan Rice moving in the other direction to Manchester will not be part of any deal to try and bring Lingard to east London permanently.

Hammers boss David Moyes was full of praise again for Lingard's performance at the weekend, saying: 'He has come in and helped the team greatly in the way he has played and also his attitude around the club, it has lifted us up.

'I didn't expect Jesse to probably get as many goals so I am really thrilled with the amount of goals he is getting at the moment and long may it continue.'

The England international has now scored in four games in a row for his club and he was nominated for Premier League Player of the Month in both February and March.

Lingard was a star of Gareth Southgate's side which reached the 2018 World Cup semi-finals and he featured in all three World Cup qualifiers in March.
