Customers have flocked back to Stack in Newcastle since it reopened from lockdown and soon the container village will have extra temptations for customers.

As the city centre favourite joined pubs and restaurants across the region in welcoming back visitors on Monday, when restrictions lifted to allow for outdoor trade, its reopening included the launch of new parmo outlet Parmogeddon.

And now it has announced other newcomers - dessert trader Sugar Stack, which will be opening later this April, and Secrettaart.

Ones for those with a sweet tooth, the new Sugar Stack unit will be selling such treats as waffles and pancakes and the Secrettaart patisserie will offer the likes of luxury gourmet pastries made with fine Dutch ingredients.

They will add to the venue's range of street food vendors offering worldwide cuisine, while another new trader which is soon to open among the Stack shops will be shoe store Hi Heels.

In other good news for customers, quiz nights at Stack are also making a comeback, bringing a chance to win a £100 cash prize. There will be a general knowledge and trivia quiz every Sunday and a rock and pop music quiz with bingo every Wednesday.

Bookings for Stack can be made here but there also will be availability for walk-in customers each day too.
