Sonu Sood promises to provide food for an entire village in MP until the COVID-19 induced lockdown is lifted

Recently recovered from COVID-19 and already back up on his feet trying his best to give whatever aid possible to the needy, continuing his philanthropic work. The actor, who was a guest in a recent episode of the reality show 'Dance Deewane', offered to provide food for an entire village of one of the contestants. It so happened that a contestant by the name Uday Singh, a daily wage earner from Neemuch, a small town, shared how everyone in his village is struggling to make ends meet with the present lockdown situation. Without any hesitation, Sonu told Uday that he shall provide food for the entire village till the lockdown is lifted and things come back to normalcy. He said, 'Uday, I want to tell the people in your village that the lockdown, whether it lasts for one month or two months or even six months, I will ensure that your entire village will keep getting rations. Tell them not to take tension, no one will go hungry there, no matter how long the lockdown continues.' Such acts of kindness have made Sonu Sood one of the most admired people in the celebrity world. In whatever capacity, he has been helping people since last year, continuously. He once shared a clip highlighting the number of SOS messages and calls he and his team receive every second of the day and it was mindboggling. Now, with the second wave of COVID-19 wreaking havoc everywhere, he has been trying to arrange COVID-19 medicines, oxygen cylinders, medicines and other stuff for people in need.
