CO in Jhansi denied leave, resigns
Manish Sonkar, posted as CO Sadar, has tendered his resignation on Sunday citing the reason as not getting leave to look after his wife who is suffering from Covid. The couple has a young daughter too. The incident came to light on Monday. Talking to TOI, Sonkar said that he tendered his resignation to SSP Jhansi, Rohan P Kanay but did not elaborate the details. On the other hand SSP Jhansi informed TOI that he was initially informed about the matter on WhatsApp and later on he received the hard copy of the resignation which he forwarded to his superiors.
