No new coronavirus deaths and 85 positive cases were recorded overnight in Scotland.
Public Health Scotland said the low number of new cases reported may be due to "data flow issues" from UK Government testing sites since 3pm yesterday and warned the actual figure could be higher.
The number of Covid patients in Scottish hospitals has risen slightly from 58 to 69 in the last 24 hours.
Likewise the number of people being treated in intensive care for the disease is up from 11 to 13.
In terms of Public Health Scotland's rolling seven-day infection rate per 100,000 population, Moray has the highest rate in the country by some distance — at 81.4 as of Tuesday, May 4.

East Dunbartonshire has the second highest rate of 41.4 while East Ayrshire is third with 41.0.
Currently, 21 of Scotland's 32 council regions have an infection rate below the national average of 21.4.
This includes South Ayrshire (13.3) and North Ayrshire (16.3).

In Ayrshire, just three new cases of the disease were reported overnight. There are fewer than five Covid patients in NHS hospitals in the region.
Figures also show fewer than five people are being treated in ICUs in Ayrshire.
The nation's vaccination programme continues to progress with 2,846,834 people now had the first dose of the Covid vaccination and 1,373,882 having received their second dose.
