NORTH CHARLESTON — A fire that broke out at the Boeing South Carolina facility on May 8 did not lead to injuries.

The fire, which was contained to the roof of one of the site's buildings, was extinguished as of 2 p.m., according to a statement from Boeing South Carolina. 

The fire did not damage any aircraft, according to the statement. Boeing is investigating the cause of the fire.
