FILE – A homeowner in Arcadia got an up-close look at a bear (not pictured) and her four cubs who showed up in their backyard pool. 
This mother bear knows how to keep it cool.
A viral video shows a big bear lounging inside a pool outside a California home while her four cubs wait outside, as seen in footage shared by Los Angeles news station KABC.
The video was captured by a person who recorded the unusual event from inside the home in Arcadia.
The mother bear can be seen shaking itself dry as the cubs wait near the edge of the pool.
Other clips show the adult bear walking around the yard.
The bear has reportedly visited the pool at the home in Southern California past years as well.
Arcadia is part of Los Angeles County and is located about 20 miles northeast of downtown L.A.
