Universal Horizon secures Malaysia TEA for Cryptocurrency - Technology

The DDK platform serves a growing community of over 300,000 users in Asia, Middle East, and the USA.

Consultation and service provider Universal Horizon has won the Cryptocurrency - Technology award at the recently concluded Malaysia Technology Excellence Awards, presented by Singapore Business Review, for its DDKoin (DDK) blockchain platform.

In its third year, the awards event lauds exceptional companies that have successfully pioneered IT products, solutions and innovative technology projects in their respective industries to boost Malaysia’s fast-growing economy.

DDK is a platform that provides blockchain/fintech solutions which are supported by a growing community of users. Since 2015, DDK has conducted many research and development on the platform to improve the performance capacity and its ecosystem.

The DDK platform uses delegated proof of stake (DPoS) protocol to suit its existing community. “The reason we choose to use DPoS algorithm is that it is a high democratic platform than the other consensus systems, more efficient, more secure and it is cost-effective due to the mining opportunity which depends on the number of votes for the miners from stakeholders,” the firm explained.

The platform facilitates its members with opportunities for supporting economic growth, faster and efficient transactions, global collaborations, high security, distributed database through delegates and decentralised autonomous organisation (DAO) through DPoS. It is also suitable for micro payments.

To increase the capacity of the DDK Platform, AEPOS Genesis Block (NEW CORE) with 10 times faster Blockchain capacity than the original LISK protocol was introduced to the platform. The new core runs a transaction performance of 250 transactions per 10 seconds per block using real-time voting combined with a social system of reputation to achieve the consensus.

This serves the growing community of more than 300,000 users in Asia, Middle East, and the USA, and has helped the DDK community enjoy the economic opportunities in this revolutionary fintech solution.

Further, the DDK Forum Discussion Platform allows users to be connected with each other to share useful information and updates to the DDK community. In April 2020, DDK established a charity wallet platform through utilization of cryptocurrency called the DDK Universal Relief Fund (DUREF) for charitable work and humanitarian missions.

DDK education collaboration on developing research paper with local universities such as UTEM. Education platform Mutant Blockchain Academy (MBA) is an online education system that is fully supported by the DDK Foundation. It gives important and beneficial education related to the blockchain and fintech technology. Currently, DDK Blockchain are working on releasing its Smart Contract Core 2.1 Blockchain and upgraded version for bigger utilization and adoption for its community and market penetration.
