COVID-19 crisis: Anupam Kher's 'Project Heal India' to provide medical aid to patients

As the COVID-19 onslaught continues amid the second wave throughout the country and people scatter for medical essentials for the loved ones, several celebrities have come forward to help the needy to sail through the crisis. Now, Bollywood actor Anupam Kher has joined hands with Global Cancer Foundation, USA and Bharat Forge, India to start an initiative called 'Project Heal India' with an aim to provide medical aid and other relief to needy in these unprecedented times. Organisations will provide critical equipment and other life-supporting devices to needy institutions and hospitals across India. The first consignment of CrossVent Ventilators (ICU Critical Care), Medtronic Ventilators, ResMed non-invasive ventilation devices and oxygen concentrators are expected to arrive in India within the week.
