A 20-year-old from Britain has been strangled to death in Greece, according to reports.

The Brit was killed in front of her baby.

Burglars tied her up, according to reports.

Her dog was also killed, and her pilot husband tied up too.

Three thieves are believed to have struck at the property in the Glyka Nera suburb of Athens.

The Greek-born woman had a UK passport, it has been reported.

Her husband is a 33-year-old pilot.

The husband eventually untied himself, found his wife's body and called police, it has been claimed.

According to the Ta Nea website, the robbers were armed and pointed a gun at the three victims.

Investigators are now reviewing local CCTV cameras.

The man and his young daughter were taken to hospital, while forensics officers began searching the family's home.

The victim has not been named.
