In lockdown 2020, actress Sameera Reddy was trending on social media for her unique video series called ‘Sassy Saasu and Messy Mamma’, where she used to make easy recipes along with her mother-in-law. In April this year, she took to her Instagram and informed that she is COVID positive. She also informed that her husband Akshai and children - Hans and Nyra - also tested positive.
While we all had been missing her interesting recipes, weeks later, she made a comeback on Instagram and shared an informative video post on health tips that helped her deal with post COVID weakness.

According to her video posts, below-mentioned are the tips that she followed and suggests that more or less the same can help you too. Have a look:

1. Drink coconut water, lime juice and amla juice.
2. Eat dates, kala jamun, soaked almonds and raisins, and fresh fruits.
3. Consume jaggery and ghee.
4. Avoid refined and processed foods.
5. Eat wholesome foods like khichdi, pulses, and fresh vegetables.
6. Sleep as much you can
7. Take sunlight for 15 minutes and avoid intense workouts
8. Go for slow walks, pranayama, shravasana and deep breathing exercises.
She concluded the post with these words, "It's ok to feel emotional. Share your feelings. Most importantly, take time to heal. This definitely helped me.”
