Teen shot and killed in Tuscaloosa

A teenager is dead after a shooting in Tuscaloosa.

The shooting took place near Fosters Ferry Road and 21st Street.

According to Tuscaloosa Police Captain Jack Kennedy, around 11:00 PM officers were called to a shooting at the intersection of Foster’s Ferry Road and 21st Street Tuscaloosa.

There they found 16-year-old Xzorian Gray who had been shot. He was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment but was declared deceased.

The shooting is being investigated as a murder.

Police believe there is no ongoing threat to the community at this time.
