Bihar: Muzaffarpur man battling for life after his genitals chopped off by woman

PATNA: A man was battling for life after his genitals were chopped off allegedly by a woman at village Bishunpur under Sahebganj police station area of Muzaffarpur district.
Sahebganj police station SHO Anup Kumar on Friday said that the injured person is aged around 40 years.
“As per our information, he is presently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Patna.Doctors have managed to re-attach his chopped off penis but his condition is still reported to be serious,” he said.
SHO said that the incident took place on May 8 and the accused woman was arrested and sent to jail next day after an FIR was lodged.
SHO Kumar said the man was rushed to a hospital in Muzaffarpur immediately after the incident.
“He was on the verge of collapsing due to excessive bleeding. Looking at his extremely critical condition, he was sent to Patna,” he said.
The SHO said that the accused woman has also lodged an FIR alleging that the man tried to rape her but no concrete evidence has surfaced on it yet.
