Music promoter and the Chief Executive Officer of Ijobanadanku Music Promotion, Adepitan Yusuf, aka Danku, has said that he is grateful to God for sparing his life to celebrate his 40th birthday despite facing several obstacles in the music industry.
Danku had gathered friends together in London, United Kingdom, during the week to mark the milestone age.
In a statement sent to Sunday Scoop, he said, “I give glory to Almighty God for witnessing today. Despite all obstacles I have faced in the music industry, I thank God for sparing my life till date. With the help of God, I have survived several battles in the industry. I will always worship God.”
Guests at the event, which had only 50 people in attendance due to COVID-19 restrictions, include Billy Q , J boy Mama , Demmy Vee UK and others .
Known to have wide connections in the music industry, Danku has worked with artistes such as Davido, D’Banj, Oritsefemi, Rayce, Terry G and Konga.
