Dharmapuri & Salem get new collectors

Salem: S Karmegam and S Divyadharshini assumed charge as new collectors of Salem and Dharmapuri districts respectively on Wednesday.
After assuming charge, Karmegam said the public should extend their support to the lockdown by staying at their homes safely.
Thanking frontline workers for their service at the time of the pandemic, Karmegam said he would take necessary steps to sort out oxygen scarcity in private hospitals in the district.
He later inspected the 500-bed Covid-19 care centre to be set up on the premises of Salem Steel Plant.
Divyadharshini said her priority will be to bring down Covid cases in the district. tnn
