Bhubaneswar: Six trains cancelled up to June 1, Rajdhani Express to run twice a week

BHUBANESWAR: Rajdhani Express trains running via three different routes will be run twice a week till June 1. Besides, six more special trains will be cancelled for very poor occupancy and to break the chain of Covid-19 infection.
According to the East Coast Railway (ECoR), Rajdhani Special trains from Bhubaneswar will run twice in a week instead of daily up to May 31. Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express Special (02823) via Tata will run on Tuesdays from Bhubaneswar up to May 31.
New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express Special via Tata (02824) will run on Wednesdays from New Delhi during the period.
Bhubaneswar-New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express Special via Adra (02825/02826) will run on Sundays from Bhubaneswar and run on Mondays from New Delhi during the period. This train will remain cancelled on May 26 from Bhubaneswar and May 28 from New Delhi.
Bhubaneswar-New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express Special via Sambalpur City and Rourkela (02855/02856) will remain cancelled on May 22 and May 29 from Bhubaneswar and on May 23 and May 30 from New Delhi.
Besides, six other local passenger and MEMU special trains will be cancelled till June 1. Bhubaneswar-Pune-Bhubaneswar Special will remain cancelled on May 25 from Bhubaneswar and on May 27 from Pune.
Bhubaneswar-Junagarh Road-Bhubaneswar Special will be cancelled till May 31 from Bhubaneswar and June 1 from Junagarh Road. Bhuabneswar-Balangir-Bhubaneswar Special, Sambalpur-Rayagada-Sambalpur Special and Bhubaneswar-Palasa-Bhubaneswar Special will be cancelled from both the directions till May 31.

Bhubaneswar-Bangiriposi Special will remain cancelled from Friday to May 31, while Bangiriposi-Bhubaneswar Special will be cancelled between May 22 and June 1.
The ECoR has already cancelled several inter-state and intra-state trains due to lack of poor occupancy and to break the chain of Covid-19 infection.
On Thursday the Indian Railways said that any person entering Maharashtra by any mode of transport will have to carry a negative RT-PCR test report which will have to be issued from up to a maximum of 48 hours before the time of his entry into Maharashtra.
