Uttar Pradesh: Inter-district fraudster arrested in Pratapgarh

Police on Thursday claimed to have arrested a notorious fraudster identified as Alok Mishra, a resident of Itauri village, Lalganj from Pratapgarh district of Uttar Pradesh.

The fraudster, wanted by Lucknow, Prayagraj and Pratapgarh police was carrying Rs 25,000 cash reward on his head, police said.
PRAYAGRAJ: Police on Thursday claimed to have arrested a notorious fraudster identified as Alok Mishra, a resident of Itauri village, Lalganj from Pratapgarh district of Uttar Pradesh.
The fraudster, wanted by Lucknow, Prayagraj and Pratapgarh police was carrying Rs 25,000 cash reward on his head.
A total of eight criminal cases, including three with Lalganj PS ( Pratapgarh), two with Civil Lines and one with Dhoomanganj (Prayagraj) and Gomti Nagar and Ghazipur (Lucknow) were registered against him.

IG (Prayagraj range) K P Singh told reporters that accused had duped many people across the state on the pretext of of beneficial schemes and arranging jobs in various government departments.
