Sonu Sood took to Twitter on May 22 to announce that he and his team are working towards setting up an oxygen plants in Andhra Pradesh’s Kurnool and Nellore. The actor emphasised that they will set up more oxygen plants in states that need them, emphasising it’s time to support rural India.

SONU SOOD TO SET UP OXYGEN PLANTS IN ANDHRA PRADESH

Sonu Sood and his team are beginning their initiative of oxygen plants with Kurnool Government Hospital, which will be followed by District Hospital, Atmakur, Nellore. Sonu tweeted pictures of the two hospitals and wrote, “Very happy to announce that the first set of my Oxygen Plants will be set up at Kurnool Government Hospital & one at District Hospital, Atmakur,Nellore, AP in the month of June!This would be followed by setting more plants in the other needy states! Time to support rural India (sic).”

SONU SOOD'S TEAM ARRANGES OXYGEN CYLINDERS FOR KARNATAKA HOSPITAL

Recently, Sonu Sood and his team helped Bengaluru hospital save the lives of 20-22 Covid patients by arranging oxygen cylinders for them. The Karnataka team of Sonu Sood Charity Foundation had received an SOS call from a police official about the urgent requirement for oxygen cylinders at ARAK hospital. The team managed to arrange 16 oxygen cylinders after raising an emergency alarm with its contacts.

SONU SOOD GETS VACCINATED, LAUNCHES INITIATIVE TO RAISE AWARENESS

Sonu Sood has launched Sanjeevani A Shot of Life, a CSR initiative that aims to spread awareness about the Covid-19 vaccine. As part of the same, he received the first dose of the vaccine and shared the update with fans on Twitter. He wrote, “Got my vaccine today and now it's time to get whole of my country vaccinated. Started the biggest vaccination drive "Sanjeevani" which will bring awareness and get our people vaccinated (sic).”

Sonu Sood has been constantly helping people suffering from Covid-19 by arranging medical care for them. The actor had contracted the virus last month on April 17 and tested negative for it on April 23.
