Mumbai city reports 866 new COVID-19 cases, 29 deaths
Mumbai city on Saturday reported 866 new COVID-19 cases, taking the overall tally to 7,10,807.
The city also saw 1,045 recoveries in a day. So far, 6,77,445 people have been discharged after recovery.
However, 29 people also succumbed to the virus, and with that, the overall toll has increased to 15,018.
Among those who died, 20 patients had co-morbidities, and 14 were above the age of 60.

The active cases stand at 16,133.
While the recovery rate is 95 per cent, the doubling rate stands at 511 days.
The city is now left with 27 containment zones (chawl and slums) and 116 buildings remained sealed.
The G/North Ward of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), which includes Dharavi, Mahim, and Dadar on Saturday (June 5) reported 08 new COVID-19 cases.
Adjoining Thane city reported 146 new cases.
