    NEW DELHI: As the second wave of coronavirus in the country continues to slow down, several states have started easing the strict restrictions which were imposed to check the spread of the virus.
    The national capital has allowed malls and markets to open on an odd-even basis. In Mumbai, local trains will run for essential services. In Haryana and UP, curbs have been relaxed. However, several states in the southern and eastern parts of the country have extended the lockdown as they are still reporting a high number of cases.

    Here is a look at the lockdown scenario in various states of the country:



    Haryana

    Haryana government has extended Covid restrictions till June 14
    Shops are allowed to open on odd-even days between 9 am to 6 pm
    Malls are allowed to open between 10 am to 8 pm.
    Restaurants and bars allowed to open between 10 am to 8 pm with 50 per cent capacity.
    Religious places allowed to open with 21 persons at a time.
    Corporate offices allowed to open with 50 per cent capacity.

    Tamil Nadu
    The state government extended the lockdown till June 14 as cases continue to rise in 11 districts.
    The 11 districts are Coimbatore, Nilgiris, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Karur, Namakkal, Thanjavur, Thiruvarur, Nagapattinam and Mayiladuthurai.
    Some easing of restrictions will be allowed in places barring the 11 districts from Monday.
    Government offices shall resume work with 30 per cent of employees.
    Routine housekeeping and maintenance work in offices and residences would be allowed 6 am to 5 pm.
    In taxis and autorickshaws, three and two passengers respectively would be permitted and they could travel with 'e-pass'.

    Karnataka
    The state government extended the lockdown from June 7 till June 14.
    Under the lockdown, essential stores are functional from 6 am to 10 am.
    movement of people has been restricted except for emergencies and vaccination purposes.

    Uttar Pradesh
    Restrictions eased in 71 out of 75 districts and economic activities will be allowed between 7 am and 7 pm.
    Night and weekend curfew, from Friday evening till Monday morning, will continue.
    The curfew will continue in Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Saharanpur and Meerut.

    Rajasthan
    The state government has extended lockdown till June 8.
    Restrictions will be relaxed from June 2.
    The exemption is only for areas where the positivity rate is less than 10 per cent or the use of oxygen, ICU and ventilator beds is less than 60 per cent.
    All government offices open from 9:30 am to 4 pm with 25 per cent employees till June 7, and after that with 50 per cent employees.
    Private offices can be opened up to 2 pm with the presence of 25 per cent employees.
    After June 8, traffic will be allowed in the entire state from 5 am to 12 noon.
    The weekend curfew will remain in force every Friday afternoon from 12 noon to 5am Tuesday till active cases go under 10,000.

    Madhya Pradesh
    The state government extended the corona curfew with eased restrictions till June 15.
    Curbs have been relaxed from June 1 onwards.
    Essential services such as milk to grocery shops are operational.
    However, markets remain open partially and educational institutions are completely shut.
    Malls, cinema halls, public and religious events are prohibited.
    City transport services remain closed.

    Gujarat
    The state government has extended the night curfew in all 36 cities from June 4 to 11 with some relaxations.
    The private and government offices allowed to open with 100 per cent staff from June 7.
    All shops in 36 cities open from June 4 (9 am to 6 pm).
    Home delivery by restaurants allowed till 10 pm.
    Night curfew (9 pm to 6 am) in all 36 cities till June 11.

    Bihar
    The state government has extended lockdown till June 8.
    All shops and businesses dealing in essential items can open from 6 am to 2 pm.
    All other shops and establishments can open on alternate days.
    All government offices to open till 4 pm with only 25 per cent attendance.
    All schools, colleges, coaching institutions, religious places, malls, cinema halls, gyms etc. to remain close.

    Kerala
    The state government has extended lockdown till June 9 with some concessions.
    Only ration shops and stores selling food to open between 9 am to 7.30 pm
    Food delivery and gig economy to remain operational between 9 am till 7.30 pm.
    Persons entering Kerala require an RT-PCR negative certificate.

    West Bengal government extended ongoing Covid- 19 restrictions till June 15.

    Himachal Pradesh extended the lockdown till June 14. The government had earlier eased curbs including those related to the opening of shops, restaurants and eateries.

    Punjab has extended the coronavirus restrictions till June 10.

    Jharkhand has extended lockdown till June 10.

    Odisha has extended lockdown till June 17.

    Chhattisgarh government has on May 31 extended lockdown till further orders.

    Puducherry has imposed lockdown till June 7.

    Lakshadweep administration has extended lockdown till June 10.

    Telangana has extended lockdown till June 9.

    Andhra Pradesh has extended curfew till June 10.

    Assam has extended the restrictions till June 15 though on June 4 it increased the curfew relaxation by one hour.

    Nagaland has extended the lockdown till June 11.

    Mizoram has extended the lockdown, which was imposed in Aizawl and other district headquarters, till June 6.

    Arunachal Pradesh has imposed complete lockdown in Anjaw, Dibang Valley, Lower Subansiri, Lohit and Tawang districts and the Capital Complex Region till June 7.

    Manipur government has imposed curfew in seven districts of Imphal West, Imphal East, Bishnupur, Ukhrul, Thoubal, Kakching and Churachandpur till June 11.

    Meghalaya extended lockdown in the worst-affected East Khasi Hills district till June 7.

    Tripura government has extended the corona curfew in Agartala Municipal Corporation areas and urban areas in the state till June 10.

    Sikkim has imposed lockdown till June 7.

    Jammu and Kashmir administration has eased restrictions but night curfew and weekend lockdown will remain.

    Uttarakhand has extended the Covid curfew till June 8.
