Manipur CM takes stock of NHIDCL projects

Imphal, June 8 (EMN):
Manipur Chief Minister, N Biren Singh reviewed various projects undertaken by National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) in the state through video conferencing on Tuesday.

The commissioner (Revenue), RK Dinesh and other officials attended the meeting at the chief minister’ secretariat while the DCs of concerned districts where the projects are taken up, officials of NHIDCL and Manipur State Power Company Ltd. attended the video conferencing from their respective offices.

During the meeting, Executive Director (NHIDCL), Rajeev Sood briefed the CM on different issues regarding the projects in different districts.

Taking note of the issues, Biren Singh instructed the concerned DCs to look into the matter and take up necessary steps at the earliest. He further added that the ongoing projects, which are undertaken as a part of mission-oriented projects of Prime Minister Narendra Modi should be completed without any delay.

Biren Singh in a tweet wrote, ‘Held a review meeting with all the DCs, officials of PWD, MSPDCL and representatives of NHIDCL to assess the progress of construction of highways across the state. Some major projects have made significant progress and we are in a position to complete it before the onset of monsoon.’
