Over 11,000 beneficiaries vaccinated in Lucknow

LUCKNOW: As many as 11,462 people in the age group of 18-44 years took the jab against Covid-19 on Tuesday. While 10,997 got the first dose, 465 took the second. These beneficiaries were among 17,570 people who got vaccinated in 151 sites across the city.
While 16,400 were given shots at 143 government sites, around 1,170 were inoculated at eight private centres.In the 45-59 years age group, 4123 and 334 took their first and second doses respectively. Similarly, 1,056 elderly came for the first dose and 242 for the second. Some frontline and healthcare workers also took vaccines.
