101 black fungus patients at IGIMS in Patna

PATNA: Even though the number of Covid cases has declined in the state, spurt in mucormycosis or black fungus cases has kept doctors on toes.
As far as mucormycosis patients are concerned, the total number of admitted patients at Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS) in Patna stood at 101 on Tuesday.
Among the mucormycosis patients at the hospital, 86 are those who have recovered from Covid-19 infection.Two new mucor patients were admitted to the hospital on Tuesday.
