Koil, who is the owner and lead developer of the popular NoPixel server for "Grand Theft Auto" online roleplay, announced Wednesday that former Twitch streamer SAVx did fake his own death.
SAVx played Johnny Cassle on the NoPixel server before being permanently banned in November 2020. SAVx was banned after being caught using an aimbotter, which was apparent in this clip. He then disappeared in December, and in January it was announced that he had died.
However, rumors about SAVx still being alive started circulating last week when Koil brought the topic up on his stream. Koil initially brought up SAVx's Twitter page, but it later turned out that a fan had restarted the account to keep the username alive. But then Koil started to dig in a little more.
"We did some searching with his name to try and find obituaries and stuff," Koil said. "Everything says to me that he's not actually dead."
After that, Koil brought up messages that SAVx had sent to Ramee in Discord. Ramee (whose GTA RP name is also Ramee), is a popular Twitch streamer with 360,000 followers on the platform. Koil shared the screenshots from Ramee and SAVx's conversation where SAVx said he "faked it all."

"I just wanted to be done with the whole communityand all that s—," SAVx said in the message. "Gotta remember [I] knew people in the community outside of it too, so even if I continued life I just didn't [want to f— with] them."
At first there was some confusion as to whether the person messaging Ramee from SAVx's Discord was actually him. After all, everyone thought SAVx had died just a few months earlier.
Ramee discussed the topic on his stream.
On Jan. 14, 2021, Nidas (who plays Leslie on the NoPixel server) released a statement announcing SAVx's death. The statement says he was informed by SAVx's brother about the streamer's passing, and that he had passed away. It was later announced that he had "died" on Christmas Day 2020.

SAVx's name was even added to the server's memorial, which honors streamers on the server who have died in real life.
But after the Discord messages between SAVx and Ramee were made public, it caused all sorts of speculation. One of SAVx's moderators wrote a message on SAVx's Discord saying they didn't know what was going on.
"None of us Mods; or Lads know what is going on with SAV; trust me, all of us miss him," SAVx's mod Dorky wrote. "People are free to come to their own conclusions on whether he is alive or has passed away those are for you to decide and reflect upon."
While it was starting to become pretty apparent that SAVx faked his own death, it was confirmed Wednesday morning during Koil's stream.
"We got someone to investigate some s—, like we hired a guy, or people, and it's 100% confirmed that he's alive, by the way," Koil said. "There's literally zero doubt. Actual evidence. So we got all this information, but obviously I can't release it because that's pretty much doxxing. But we know everything about him like names, addresses and all that s—."
Since all of this information came out, SAVx's name has been removed from the server's memorial stone. Shotz (who plays Vinny on NoPixel), has also distanced himself from SAVx as he changed his license plate from POG 07 (an homage to SAVx) to NICO.
