NOIDA: IPS Vaibhav Krishna, whose suspension was revoked three months ago, has been posted as the SP (training and security), Lucknow.
On Thursday, an order was issued by the state's additional chief secretary, Awanish Awasthi, and Krishna and nine other IPS officers have got fresh postings according to that.
Krishna will assume charge of a department nearly one-and-a-halfyears after his suspension.

The former SSP of Noida had investigated a cash-for-postings racket and was suspended after videos of alleged sex chats surfaced.
In a report to the state government, Krishna had named five IPS officers and mentioned how several police officers paid money to get postings, besides their nexus with some reporters. The report came into the public domain after some alleged sex chat videos surfaced. Krishna had said the videos were morphed. Other than the five IPS officers, Krishna’s report named four inspectors, a sub-inspector, three constables and an ASP, among others. His suspension lasted around 13 months and was revoked on March 5 this year.

The former SSP did not respond to calls and messages on Thursday.
Krishna had got an FIR lodged at Noida’s Sector 20 police station against unidentified people under sections of the IT Act for allegedly morphing and sharing the videos to show him in poor light. Later, the probe was transferred to Hapur following which the videos were sent for a forensic examination to a Gujarat laboratory. It concluded they were not morphed.
