Former Everton defender Ashley Williams and ex-Liverpool midfielder Charlie Adam will be pundits for the Euro 2020 coverage across terrestrial television.

Match of the Day presenter and former Blues striker, Gary Lineker will continue his familiar presenting role as well as another ex-Toffee James McFadden who will join the BBC team.

BBC and ITV will share the rights for the coverage of the Euro 2020 as 51 matches will be broadcast live to millions across the United Kingdom as Wembley and Hampden Park welcome 25 per cent capacities, 22,500 and 12,000 respectively, to their stands until at least the final group match.

Liverpool and Everton players will represent their respective countries as home nations England, Scotland and Wales are all among the countries drawn in Groups A-F.

In its 60th year, the rescheduled tournament will be played out across Europe to celebrate the significant anniversary and it means the event returns to London for the first time since Euro ‘96.

Diogo Jota, Xherdan Shaqiri and Thiago Alcantara will turn out for Portugal, Switzerland and Spain respectively.

BBC line-up for Euro 2020 coverage

Former Everton forward Gary Lineker scored 30 goals in 41 appearances for the Blues before his move to Barcelona. England's third all-time goal scorer will be a presenter for BBC.

Gabby Logan will also continue presenting for the BBC carrying on from her role as stand-in presenter of Match of the Day with Scottish presenter Eilidh Barbour joining the team after her time working on the Women’s World Cup in 2019.

Match of the Day 2 and 5Live presenter Mark Chapman completes the list of hosts.

Cesc Fabregas, Jurgen Klinsmann, Alan Shearer, Ashley Williams and Shelley Kerr, to name a few, join Alex Scott as the pundits for the month-long coverage.

Charlie Adam played 37 times for Liverpool during his year-long stint with the club, he has been chosen to analyse the games as part of the BBC coverage.

ITV’s line-up for Euro 2020 coverage

ITV continues to broadcast England’s internationals like they have for every World Cup since 1966. They have had the rights to the European Championship, World Cup and home international friendlies since 2008.

Mark Pougatch replaced Adrian Chiles as the presenter for the coverage in 2014 and is accompanied by Seema Jaswal and Reshmin Chowdhury.

A Champions League winner with Liverpool as a player, Graeme Souness will swap Sky Sports for ITV as he will be a pundit for their coverage, including England's clash with Scotland.

Gary Neville and Roy Keane will be joined by Eni Aluko, Ian Wright, Ashley Cole and Crystal Palace winger Andros Townsend.

For the clash with Scotland, Souness, Scott Brown and John Collins will all be alongside the English contingent to analyse the match.

Women’s Super League-winning manager Emma Hayes will also be on the panel with Arsenal legend Patrick Viera, Nigel de Jong, Robert Earnshaw, Joe Ledley and Nadia Nadim.
