Uttarakhand STF busts cybercrime racket, 2 arrested

Uttarakhand Police Special Task Force (STF) has busted a cybercrime racket and two people have been arrested in the matter. “Uttarakhand Police STF had busted a cybercrime racket, registered 3 FIRs and arrested one person. Further probe was done, names of 5 more accused came up, including a Hong Kong and a Chinese national. Info is being collected and Blue Corner notice has been issued,” informed Uttarakhand ADG Abhinav Kumar to media persons. “Today, we filed 4 more FIRs and arrested 1 more. Names of 10 more accused came to light. We suspect that a scam of hundreds of crores of money took place. Victims belong to different states. We're contacting police forces concerned,” he added.
