Jennifer Lopez and Rita Ora are set to join forces to collaborate on both music and film projects together, according to reports.
The 51-year-old American superstar is reportedly taking 30-year-old Rita under her wing to mentor her and plan projects for them to work on together.
JLo already has an incredible music career under her belt that spans back to the 1990s and has featured in critical and commercial smash movies including Out of Sight and Hustlers.
While Rita has been churning out pop hits for just under a decade and has dipped into the worlds of TV and film with judges seats on shows like The Voice and The Masked Singer and roles in films including the Fifty Shades saga and Detective Pikachu.
Now the ladies are set to be plotting a project or two together after enjoying secret meetings in Los Angeles.
According to The Sun, both ladies have a hight respect for each other and are hoping to pull their respective strengths to create something that will blow fans minds.
A source told the publication: “They’ve long wanted to get together and finally their schedules aligned after Rita had finished filming The Voice in Australia.
“J-Lo and Rita met at Soho House in LA and spent a couple of hours talking about what they could possibly do together. Nothing was off limits and they talked about both music and films.
“J-Lo’s career trajectory is something that Rita very much wants to emulate. She started off in music like J-Lo did, before branching off into films and TV.
“There was a real sense of a mutual appreciation between the women and if they do manage to work together on a song or film, it will be incredible.”
Rita is no stranger to working with big star names in music – having enjoyed hits and collaborations with stars including DJ Fresh, Rudimental, Liam Payne, Avicii, Ed Sheeran and Iggy Azalea, among others.
While JLo has unleashed smash hits with singers and rappers including LL Cool J, Pitbull, P. Diddy, Flo Rida, will.i.am, and Mick Jagger.
Jenny also starred with fellow singers Cardi B and Lizzo in the 2019 stripper drama Hustlers.
In recent weeks, Rita has seen her own star power boosted even further than normal after she was snapped getting close to Marvel film director Taika Waititi and British actress Tessa Thompson.
