Tigers get seeded for state softball, baseball

SPRINGFIELD — The Springfield baseball team was seeded fifth in the Class A state baseball tournament and will play No. 4 seed South Ridge at 11:45 a.m.

If the Tigers win, they will play the winner of Hayfield and Adrian-Ellsworth at 12 p.m. at Faber Field on Wednesay.

Springfield’s softball team was unseeded for the Class A state tournament and will play No. 2 seed Badger-Greenbush-Middle River at 3 p.m. on Tuesday at Caswell Park. If the Tigers win, they play the winner of No. 3 seed Browerville and Wabasha-Kellogg at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
