KOLKATA: Police are investigating two unnatural deaths, one that seems to be accidental and the other that could be intentional.
In Behala, a 16-year-old teenager upset over an argument he had with his girlfriend, landed a punch on his 16-year-old nephew that killed him. The incident happened late on Friday evening. At Beniapukur, the body of a 28-year-old man, who worked in a medicine store and worked part time at the medicine department of Chittaranjan National Medical College, was found near the septic tank of the building he was staying in.
There were severe injury marks on his face. He had not been reporting to work for the past two days.
In the Behala case, the teenager had come to Kolkata from Murshidabad to work at a construction site before Covid restrictions kicked in.
At Beniapukur, cops said victim Nimai Ghosal of Sodepur was residing at 22L Gorachand Lane.
