Mysuru records 25 Covid-19 deaths in 24 hours, highest in Karnataka

MYSURU: For the first time since Covid-19 outbreak in the state, Mysuru district recorded the highest number of Covid-19 casualties in the state on Sunday.
According to the data, on Sunday, 25 Covid-19 deaths were reported from Mysuru while Bengaluru Urban recorded 23 deaths. All these days, Bengaluru Urban was recording a highest number of Covid-19 casualties.
On Sunday Mysuru recorded 1,251 new Covid 19 cases while Bengaluru urban recorded 1,348 new cases.
Mysuru recorded 2,118 discharges.
With 25 new deaths, total Covid 19 casualties in the Mysuru district now touch 1,859.
On Saturday, less than 500 cases were reported in the Mysuru district with 482 cases. Among the new cases 1,114 are contacts, 121 are ILI and 16 are SARI.
