Mumbai city on Sunday reported 700 new COVID-19 cases, taking the overall tally to 7,16,579.
The city also saw 704 recoveries in a day. So far, 6,83,382 people have been discharged after recovery.
However, 19 people also succumbed to the virus, and with that, the overall toll has increased to 15,183.
Among those who died, 11 patients had co-morbidities, and 10 were above the age of 60.

The active cases stand at 15,773.
While the recovery rate is 95 per cent, the doubling rate stands at 653 days.
The city is now left with 22 containment zones (chawl and slums) and 83 buildings remained sealed.
The G/North Ward of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), which includes Dharavi, Mahim, and Dadar on Sunday (June 13) reported 12 new COVID-19 cases.
