Alabama to bring 50th anniversary tour to Oklahoma City
Country rock band Alabama announced it’s bringing its 50th anniversary tour to Oklahoma City’s Chesapeake Energy Arena.The concert is set to take place on Friday, Sept. 17, with special guest Marshall Tucker Band. Tickets for the show will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday online, all Ticketmaster locations and the Chesapeake Energy Arena box office.Full capacity events will pick back up in August at the Arena with the Harlem Globetrotters and WWE, organizers said. Alabama will be the first full-capacity music concert for the arena since March 2020, and the start of back-to-back-to-back shows with Banda MS on Sept. 18 and Michael Buble on Sept. 19.
