Police in Punjab's Khanna town arrested three persons and recovered counterfeit currency with a face value of Rs 3,04000 from their possession.

LUDHIANA: Police in Punjab's Khanna town arrested three persons and recovered counterfeit currency with a face value of Rs 3,04000 from their possession.
The accused were identified as Ashu of Krishna Nagar, Mandeep Tandon Sunny of Basant Nagar and Vikas Vicky of Uttam Nagar.
A police officer said that the arrests were made following a tip-off from near Military Ground in Shiv Mandir area.

Police said that the accused were being questioned and the equipment used in making the fake currency notes will be recovered during police remand.
