Best deals on BBQs to expect in the Amazon Prime Day sale 2024

Like many, summer is our favourite time of year. Days spent under the sun, evenings stretching out into the evening - it feels like the whole country exhales. Summer also means the garden can be reclaimed as an extra room of the house. 

Having a tranquil outdoor space feels like the ultimate luxury, especially when London’s parks become standing room only the second temperatures rise. The key to making it the envy of your neighbours is by getting the right kit in place. 

Aside from the proper garden furniture for your outside space, a great BBQ feels key for a British summer, where grilling is practically a national sport. 

While there are plenty of low-cost models on the market, a good BBQ doesn't exactly come cheap. Luckily, we’ve caught wind of a big sale on the horizon; one that could have you flipping tasty morsels before the Easter long weekend.

Amazon, retailer of everything from charcoal to clothing, is known for its big sale events. Customers can usually expect a decent discount for a limited time, with Prime members enjoying express delivery to boot. 

Historically Amazon holds its mega sale, known as Amazon Prime Day, in July. The company is keeping its cards close to its chest, so that’s all the information we have right now. 

The big sale is open to customers who have signed up for Amazon’s Prime membership. Aside from speedy delivery, membership gives you access to Amazon’s world of services, from Prime Video and Music to e-books, gaming, photo storage and more. 

In the UK, there are two ways to subscribe. Opt for a rolling monthly fee of £8.99 a month, or save a little with an annual membership costing £95 for the year. 

Cash-strapped students get an even better deal with £4.49 a month, or £47.49 for the year. New customers can sign up for a 30-day free trial to try Prime membership out for size.

From large appliances to household essentials, there were deals galore across the board. Both gas-powered and charcoal BBQs featured prominently with top models like Char-Broil, Weber and Ninja serving bestsellers at juicy prices. Kamado Joes were also in the mix, with egg-shaped BBQs a popular buy amongst grill enthusiasts.
